Google China to recruit R&D staff in China

Google China posted a recruitment information on its official blog Thursday, saying it is going to hire staff for the Research and Development (R&D) department in China, including R&D managers in Beijing and Shanghai, and head for software development and User-experience designers.

"In the past several months, our R&D team adhered to their work on developing and innovating technologies. With the objective of providing excellent service to our customers, our engineers have upgraded functions of Google Search, Maps, Translation, Advertising Programs, committed to developing more new products," according to Google's announcement.

Liu Jun, assistant dean, who is in charge of web search development in Google China Project Research institute, is confirmed to have left Google since last month.

Previously in mid April, Wang Jin, responsible for Google Advertising Programs, left Google to join in Baidu.
