TESCO: accelerating Layout in China Market

As a latecomer, the World’s third largest retailer and Britain’s largest retailer--- TESCO is accelerating the layout of Chinese market. After opening stores in central China last month, TESCO probably will open its first store in Changsha city, Hunan province.
TESCO is one of the world's top 500 enterprises, and also one of the world's top three retailers. It has nearly 80 years’ history, and the total number of its stores worldwide is over 3200.

TESCO official Web site in China shows that in the middle of this month it will open a store in Hefei, Anhui Province, which is its first store in central China. While in the second half of this month, its large shopping mall will be opened up in Qingdao.

Last month, TESCO has opened stores consecutively in Ninghai, Foshan, Taizhou and Jinan.
